He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) with an extensive background in accounting solutions for small businesses, tax planning strategies, and IRS representation. This range of accounting expertise has equipped him with the skills, ability, and tenacity to help resolve even the most complicated accounting and tax issues that small business owners face.
Born in Jamaica, Carlysle attended Excelsior High School and later Kingston College. As a Jamaican, he has always wanted to make a positive contribution to Jamaican society and has established SMS Advisory Services to help fellow business owners be successful. He is also the owner of SMS Tax and Accounting Services located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Carlysle has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting from Baruch College and a Masters in Taxation from Nova Southeastern University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
